Beginners day in Norfolk

King's Lynn AA are staging a special junior/beginner's teach in at Tottenthill Pits, of the A10 between King's Lynn and Downham Market, on Saturday.

9.30am - 4pm, talks, lessons and a chance to catch a few fish with help from the club's qualified coaches; tackle and bait provided.

Also stalls by the EA, Pike Anglers Club etc.

I went along to one of these to take pics a few weeks back and it was an amazing day - not least because every youngster caught something.

If the last one was anything to go by it will be Rich.

The King's Lynn club has really pushed the boat out in recent seasons.

Youngsters have a full summer programme of weekly evening matches and several senior members have become qualified coaches.

It was a brilliant day, the club really are to be congratulated - I watched a couple of th coaches in action and they really knew how to make it fun and maximise the enjoyment they got out of it.

Anyone see it on Sky..?
