Does anyone know how I can tell if I have a first edition? Is the cover different on the 2nd edition? Any help would be much appreciated

look to see when it was printed...people paying ridiculous money on ebay for it, when they've been reprinted.
some people are buying the re-prints for ?20 and selling for 60/70 because people dont realise its readily available!

Thanks Frothey.I haven't actually read the book yet,I have just bought it secondhand after looking for one for the last 8 weeks.I didn't realise there was a reprint until I saw one on Ebay today,and just wanted to know if I'd been mugged!

Brynn,it should tell you if it's a reprint,if there is only one date it should be a first edition.
It will say first published and the date,then if reprinted the date.
