help please

can anyone help me ?

ive been fishing gravel pits in oxfordshire for 20 years and all my beloved pits that ive enjoyed fishing have all gone down the carp water / syndicate road

its crept up on me without me seeing it

but seriously my fishing partener and myself have noticed that were having to travel further and further out of oxon to get to some tench and bream fishing

is it me or is this the trend

can anyone enlighten me to were abouts in oxford i might be able to get a nice bag of tench

I don't know youre area andy but I thought the carp boom was now levelling out. Tench and carp seem to go well together in my area, but then again I don't know of the actual ratio between carpers and tench anglers where you live.
