I have fished Le Botte twice and have seen people catch on all sorts of methods and all sorts of baits.
The key to Le Botte is to go with a bait/method YOU are confident with, there is nothing worse than going out there and fishing a method/bait you have not really tried before and struggling.
I know, it nearly happened to me in 2003, i had heard PVA etc was the way and went with that, struggled, switched to what i was confident with and had 41.08 plus 30's.
General rules i would apply :
If you can, fish on the wind
Find some kind of feature, bar, gravel patch.
Bait up and top up as and when you catch.
Keep feeding your features even if they don't produce straight away, they will eventually .
For emergencies carry some fluoro pop ups, my biggest this year fell to a fluro snowman rig wacked out into the darkness.
