Books/vids for kids

Can anyone suggest a good book or video I can get my eight-year-old lad that's pitched at youngsters..?

He's come back from a holiday with his Grandad with a new rod and reel, bursting to get out fishing.

I want him to learn at his own speed so he enjoys it more than me just plonking him down behind my rods and letting him play fish after I've done all the work.

are quite instructional but i've never seen any aimed at young kids ,it would be
a nice if someone did.you could check my list and either go on e-bay or amazon.com
and see if any are availiable or i could
lend* you a back up copy on dvd ,if you like if you pay me for the postage* ect
then you could keep it for ever*

( * it would be ilegle for me to SELL you a
copy for ?5 [inc postage]but not to lend a

i don't think you'll find any video's like
that as 99.9% are made by people over the
age of twenty and such youth talk would be
like a alien language to them.you could try
making a scrap book up and then cut picture
ect out of the fishing paper's & mags ect
and write the descriptions your self.

More seriously, Tony Whieldon's books cram a heck of a lot of gen into pictures, and are worth a butcher's.
