Had a nice ghostie Saturday, 16lb.
Just out of interest, whats the biggest you've heard of/caught?

The tidal Thames produces them to high thirties possibly bigger each year.I seem to recall a huge Trent ghostie popping up in years past can't recall the weight but again high thirty low forty possibly.Fight well don't they !

It sure did, I thought I was attached to a much bigger fish.
Fantastic sight though as that white shape nears the surface.

My Biggest Ghostie was 18lb out of a lake in Kent, this particular fish came in like a wet sack, although this is unusual as all other ghosties I've caught up to 15lb have fought like demons. Well done Phil, nice fish mate!

Cheers Stuart, I've since been told of a pool with ghosties to 20lb.
I think I'll become a ghostie specialist!

Pit down the road from me has commons to mid-30s, the ghosties seem to top out around 20lbs but I see pictures of them from time to time and they're a truly beautiful fish.
