I am down visiting some friends for a couple of days before going to the Stoney charity fish in at Yatley. I am stopping at Fawley and was wondering if anybody knew of any decent day ticket waters in the local area river or stillwater

Cheers

Nearest river is the Avon at Ringwood or Christchurch; tickets from Davis Tackle Xchurch or Avon Angling/Ringwood Tackle in Ringwood. Also Stour at Christchurch. Test and Itchen not exactly day ticket! There are several well known dayticket stillwaters from Sway lakes, Broadlands, Longbridge, Hordle Lakes, Orchard lakes, plus Somerley lakes at Ringwood. What sort of fishing are you after?

Mopley Pind at Blackfield is about 3 minutes from Fawley.
here
Not brilliat, but close.

Sway is probably about 30 odd minutes drive, but better quality fishing.

Hatchett Pond at Beaulieu is about 10 or 15 minutes away and holds some good fish.
Tickets from campsites or local post office.
Watch out for the bailiff, Forestry Commission uneducated Hitlerite with absolutely no understanding of fish or fishing.
