Cheese Wax ? anyone used this?

I was given a hamper as a wedding present with two whole cheeses in it both inside black wax .
It looks like the perfect thing for pining rigs down or adding as an after thought like a back lead .
The only smell it has is cheesy so I can't see that being a problem will give it a try tomorrow.

Wax floats, so it pins nothing down.

What you need is Kryston Drop Em. This is a wax compound that contains tungsten powder to give it weight.

Good job I posted this then would have been pretty poor results .

Feel a bit silly now just been and tested it.

Are there any other fishing uses for wax maybe as a substance for running your line through to make it float ?

Loading pellet wagglers ?
at least it's heavy?

It just seems like it's crying out to be used for something.

A floating casting weight.

Wrap it around a swivel or plastic ledger stop.
