Has anyone ever fished in or around the colleta de fuste resort, if so do you have any info on species, methods, (and spiny fish to avoid!!!!) tackle required etc.

Sorry Ian - I've not fished there but I have been there. Most local people seem to float fish a few yards off the rocks with size 1/0 - to 2 hooks. I only saw small fish caught and I don't know the species. The place is very nice though - I well recommend it!
