River Waveney

Help needed please,I'm visiting a part time angler pal of mine from Dereham on thursday and friday of next week.
He's never fished a river so I'm going to try and show him some of the ropes.
Can anybody give me any clues about the above location,what fish to expect etc.
The lake there will be a stand by if Ivan,finds his way acrooss the Atlantic.
Where also going on the Dereham AC stretch of the Yare.

On the basis that i'm not certain if people go back very far on the list of threads,i'm moving this up in the hope of at least one response!!

Looks like I'm going to have to do some pioneering then!
