Great self publicist

Just read his letter in Angling Times.
Apparently, all the changes in the control of cormorants have come about because HE wrote a letter to Ben Bradshaw. (the letter is also on the CA website) The leading angling representative bodies and KNOWLEDGEABLE individuals had no input then Mr Jardine?
Although Mr Jardine IS noticeable by his absence at the photo shoot of the launch of the news.(Anglers Mail last week)
Perhaps he was too exhausted after the events of the previous day.

Yes, I've read the letter and I think Charles is ignoring the fact that other angling bodies have also exerted pressure on DEFRA.

Charles and the CA are doing what they are best at, sending out press releases,indicating a success for CA when in reality they have done b****r all and the real work has been done by hard working groups behind the scenes over many years.

The Moran Bird Group and Terry Mansbridge with help from others achieved for fisheries what the CA can only dream about.

CA were not invited to the press announcement by Government as they had no input to the work.

His stupid letter has been sent to nearly all local papers and has caused any number of anti angling repsonses. CA just makes life harder for anglers and has little idea how to work with others.
