Myself and a colleague are trying to get a fishing club up and running within our NHS ambulance service, any words of wisdom with regards to setting up and the day to day running would be of great assistance....

There's a series of articles on the site which may help,

go to the drop down box at top left of this page,

go to reference articles

put "club" into the search engine

Aaron,
You have my sympathies!
Where abouts are you? How many potential members do you have? If you do not have a water of your own you will find it expensive for your members to pay pegging fees at other waters every time you fish together. You would be far better looking for a water to rent. There are some out there. Contact The E.A in your own area to see if they have any water going spare. Then it's a matter of creating a good quality fishery out of what you've been given (or payed for!). This involves a lot of hard work with pegging, stocking, etc. It might be better for you all to join an already established club and use their facilities for yourself. E.mail me at policeangling@yahoo.co.uk and I'll give you what advice I can.
