Great article Gary. After landing my first 'BritCat' a couple of years ago, I was so impressed with the species, I had to take a trip last year to Spain and have a bash after a real biggie. The area I fished was well downstream of the usual haunts, I was guided by Del Curzon of 'EbroDel' fame. A superb 7 day trip in the EbroDelta area saw me catch numerous cats, plus belters of 83lb, 88lb and 109lbs. They truly are fish I'll never forget! A non angling friend was so impressed, he's booked to go with me on my next trip in May 05!!!

Excellent article. Though i have never caught a cat i must admit when i see these beauties i am tempted to get myself a passport.

Really good bit of writing. Thanks. Something else to add to the list of things to do before needing a zimmer frame.
