carp rigs

can anyone advise me on a suitable rig to fish a lake that does not allow bollies, bolt rigs, or the method ?

Well, you could do worde them a simple leger rig using sweetcorn straight on the hook, or meat. You don't say how presured the carp are...

Ok I see...well...tiger nuts fished on a hair rig and running leger would probably sort out the bigger fish.

If you can see the fish, what about float fishing or freelining paste baits or naturals like a bunch of worms. Even on the most pressured waters, this tactic can fool a few fish.

It is still possible to get a bolt effect by fishing a hevvy lead and a very tight, clipped up line. Even though the lead is free to run, the clipped up line on the rod sets the hook. Maybe this is a way round it. Instead of boilies on the hook, look at tiger nuts, chickpeas, hemp, large pellets etc.
