Nice one Mark!

I will agree about making the most of short sessions. All my tackle is split into different boxes for different sessions. When the feeling comes over me, grab a box, grab a bag, grab a rod and off.

Lures are the easiest off all and like you say, it's all about having FUN!

Love the piccy of the 'ghillie' what a nice touch to a photo.

I always mean to go out and do what you describe Mark, I have the gear and do you know what, I never ever use it, how sad is that eh! Every time I read about lure fishing I think 'right I'm definately going to do it' but somehow I don't seem to get round to it, maybe this will give me the inspiration to finally get off my backside and try it. It should 'cos its a nice article.

Cheers guys, glad you liked it, theres more on the way, now the lads sleeping through the night it gives me more time for fishing and writing. The picture in question was taken by my wife who has a fine art degree and so has the eye for great shots, getting her to come fishing and take them is the only problem!!
