Hi
I am new to carp fishing this year and got the bug,I hope to be going fishing alot in the winter.Could any one tell me the best baits to use and what type of rigs? thanks

By the way Rik, given your comments on another forum about braid and your preferences, do you not now user the maver mono/braid ?

And by the way, was that 30lb caught in winter? If so I admire your resistance to the cold.....

I'm back on the Shimano Technium for that, but I also use braid when I'm using 'stronger' hooklengths.

10 or 12lb mono hooklinks isn't balanced with 30lb braid reel line.
(well, not with my big rods anyway)
