I fished there a fair bit a few years ago and then it was a good doubles water and there was the chance of a low twenty.
I paid the place a visit last year, partly for old times sake and partly because i was kinda hoping it was being left alone and could come good again.
I found it full of smallish pike now, i can't remember how many i caught but it was a few, they all come to deadbaits (smelt was good) and as i say all smallish (3 to 8lb)......it depends on your outlook really, it could be a decent learning water, but i think doubles would be few and far between........but one to keep an eye on?
