Hi

Having looked at all the fishing logs available, most are American. I am going to try and design my own for the PC.

However I was wondering what sort of features people would want.

I would be grasteful for any feedback.

something like the ones on River reports would be good. For one's own use.

All I've seen are the american logs.

Brian,
Go to Forums on the top right hand column, and click on Venue Reports.

I do a simpler one useing database. So that I can call up any venue, month, year, what bait I used, or anything else I used in a field heading, it's more fun that way.

Venue Logging
Where, when, Species Present, Type of Fishery

Session Logging
Date, Time, Species, Method used, Bait, Swim, Weather Conditions - There's loads of stuff

Possibly have a couple of screens tieing it in to moon phases, possibly extract the data directly from the Moonstrike website. I think thats what it's called.

Maybe build in some kind of photo gallery feature as well.

You could probably do all or most of this with access tho probably not excel.

What are you coding in ???
