De-weeding of the drains

Much to my surprise the middle level commisioners were out "de-weeding some of the Fen drains today.......what a lovely site!!!..they used to do this on a regular basis,but stopped years ago,why they"ve started again i"m unsure?..mind you they"ve left it a little late in the year!!! but i"m not gonna complain...anyone else had drains or rivers being dredged out?.

Could do with soem down the Colne and Colnbrook.
