Reducing picture size programmes

There are always requests on here for free programmes for reducing picture sizes in fact I was in that position recently having reformatted my comp and lost the one I had. After trying a few I bought this one off ebay thinking it would do the job and a bit extra and quite cheap really.

DON'T BE TEMPTED - IT IS A CON.

All you get for your money is an email with a link to GIMP to download what is already a free programme. What a con eh! and nowt can be done about it either.

Have you complained to EBay Graham? If it's a scam they will put a stop to it.

It's been mentioned on here before, but it's worth another plug - try Picasa. It's a decent basic photo editor with some nice filters and effects that really work.

I use this one: Resize! It's a freeware one for both PC and Mac and can handle bulk images

I have phoned Ebay this morning and they agree with me that it is a con and they will be investigating this seller - they say. I can't do anything else other than find out where he's operating from and send my heavy squad in :j
