I have four mate, varying in size but all joined up by waterfalls and little canals, they all contain fish, from sturgeon, carp, rudd, goldfish, tench, loach to sticklebacks, in fact my carp bred for the first time this summer and I now have six small carp. In the winter, now, I put pond heaters in the two main ponds, this keeps the ice off while my pump sends water through the system to help with areation. I`m also very interested in freshwater water life and my two smaller ponds, which only contain stickleback, contain also many invertibrates, while common frogs and common newt also breed every year in my two larger ponds.

Good innit
