loading a spool

have just loaded a spool with 5ld line following instructions from another thread but it seems that it is not as full at the top of the spool as the bottom, any ideas or is this right

Matthew Cooper,hi check that your spool is seated properly on the shaft rest/crossbar
some spools have two sets of indents for the crossbar too sit in one set maybe slightly higher than the other or your real
spool isn't sitting in the indents(cutouts)
remove the spool and refit it

you may need to hand wind on the line from
the top of the spool down to the middle so
as to balance out the bad line lay when you spool up by winding the line on using
the reel
