Fishing from Selsey

I'm off to stay in Chichester next week and want fish from the shore at Selesy.
I have been before and have only had small Dab.
Any hints or tips for the area wouldbe gratefully received.

Lots of bass from the west beach along with the occasional smoothy.
Rag and peeler are good alround baits.
Nights and spring tides best.
Two hours up and two back down being the best times.
