Me and Big Parksy have just come back from our annual jaunt to Wales chasing sea trout. This year we decided to try and catch a bass too [I've never caught one] so we had a sort of "McNab" thing going...the targets being sea trout, wild brown trout and bass all in the one day.

Unfortunately the weather fairy put the mockers on our bass trip but we did the other two. Strictly speaking it should have been sea trout, wild brownie and salmon but its a bit early yet for the salmon where we were.

So...what's your coarse fish McNab ? For predator anglers I suppose its pike, perch, zander and on a river [for me] it would be barbel, roach, chub.

A silly little thing but the thought of actually doing it did keep our fishing "honest" .

Barbel, roach and chub sounds a good un. To make it a real challenge you might try for 10lb, 5lb and 2lb! I've done a double figure barbel and a 5lb chub in the same session, but I suspect adding a 2lb roach might be a fish too far:(
