I've had a couple of really good deals of this guy, sasian100. He (called Ian) lives in Stalybridge too, so he can't be bad. He isn't offering anything just at the moment though, just after Christmas, he must have cleared out.

Not many doing much at the moment.

Just bought a couple of items from this guy http://stores.ebay.co.uk/ANGLERS-CORNER. Good prices, we'll see about delivery.

And this guy is good http://stores.ebay.co.uk/The-Fly-by-Night-Fishing-Tackle-Co Don't be put off by the name "fly-by-night" I've had three seperate items from him and delivery and goods were excellent.

Key rule is: if you don't trust them, don't commit to more than you can afford to lose if it goes tits up.

On the road to rack & ruin !!!
twainy.....i`ve had quite a lot of varied tackle from e-bay,ranging from collectable reels right through to pike tackle.
the items i have purchased have always arrived in good time and have never been damaged or been something totally different to what i was bidding on etc...i will be totally honest and say i have never had any probs on e-bay.
your`e right in saying that some of it is right cheap and naff looking but if your`e a competant fisherman and you know a bit about tackle and know how to sort the wheat from the chaff you should be ok.if your`e not sure then ask someone for advice...
my self and her indoors buy and sell alot of stuff on e-bay,any queeries mate then feel free to e-mail me and the mrs....
all the best....

Thanks for the advice Nick. My wife sells a lot on e-bay so we're aware of the pitfalls.
It was just a suggestion so that someone on here may get a bargain, but its nice to get some background on the seller, thanks Woody
