I was bought a 5.5m margin pole for Christmas. I have a rough idea how to use it but would appreciate any useful tips and advice. Its a telescopic pole.
Put a plummet on the hook, and feel about for a marginal shelf, especially if you are on a canal. It will probably be about a metre from the bank. fish just over that, or just this side of the boat channel, (The middle)
