I was lucky enough to have a weekend on the Avon this past weekend, before i fished i went and stood on the bridge at ringwood, it looked so lovely but when i look directly under the bridge i saw a carving knife that must have been 16 inches long laying on the bottom! this does not give the Avon a name that it deserves.

There are w***ers living everywhere Mark and Ringwood is no exception.

....eermm, you're not some long lost cousin come to claim his inheritance are you...if so, it's all gone.

I've traced mine back to 1826 but got a bit stuck there, mainly through lack of effort. I'd be happy to share any info if you're interested.

When I was in London thee were only eight of us in the telephone directory and six of those were family. I do know from my researches that there were quite a lot of Pleasances in East Anglia.

Whereabouts are you from?

I am in Kent, i know there are some pleasance's on the isle of white.
I would love to find out more so any info would be greatly recieved.
