I'm constantly being taken the p...s out of because of the state of my tackle.

Even Graham has had a go at me...(

I think I'm going to invest in something like this and pretty sharpish.

Looks good to me as well Ron, as soon as I'm back in the UK it's straight down the tackle shop. I like the look of the hook box
especially.

Design looks ok and Preston make good quality stuff usually.

Prices are fair and make those other f.. f.. f.. f.. f.. flip lid boxes look expensive.

It can't be any good,Woody hasn't reviewed it.
Fox have been doing them for years in camo green.

And in black, but they're still f.. f.. f.. f.. f.. flipping expensive compared to these.

Also, you might look at the Tekneek Trabucco folding boxes for specialist bits. Got mine last year free on the cover of Angler's Mail, normally about ?5 I think.

Don says I am becoming a tackle tart.

Well maybe I am.

But I'll never ever equal Peter Jacobs, or the Illustrious MacWallet.....)

That looks like something I,ve got to find room for. I'm gonna need a forklift to get gear to the bank.

Ron,
The only reason that people comment on your float box is that it is a disaster area :) That said, I am constantly in awe that you manage to find anything and at a single glance, but you do.

Monk,
I agree, the Fox boxes do take some beating. I have a few which I keep filled for with items for different types of fishing. Then it is a simple matter of putting the right box in the bag for the day.

I do a similar thing peter, i have several boxes that hold different kit for different situations..

I buy mine in maplin though, they are cheaper and iv'e never had one come undone, depositing bits in the bottom of my bag, unlike others.

As for ON BOX, OFF BOX , most tackle from the preston stable is pretty good i think!.

Nick,

I agree about Preston, everything they market is well thought out and very resonably priced too. My problem is that I had already invested in the Fox products.

I eventually bit the bullet and bought the Fox boxes as I got fed up with getting to the bank and finding I was missing those all important small items.

I do the same thing with my Boss Box having quite a few extra drawers containing terminal tackle and rigs for different situations.

A man after my own heart!...

I have to say, i take a lot of time, and pride, in keeping my gear neat and to hand.

I have seperate containers for...

Rig making equipment
Rigs
Unhooking equipment (forceps,disgorgers,klinik etc)
Weighing Equipment
Marking equipment..
etc
etc
makes me sound like a tackle tart, but i think it's all about being organised!

Nick A its a match fishing thing this tidyness! All about maximising your time when fishing, having everything to hand. Thats what I was taught by Ian Heaps and its kept me in good stead! Only bad point was being called "Mr Clean" at the loacl club lol, but I've been called worse names!
