Poole Bass

I'm filling a space on a boat out from Poole next week, It's A Bass trip using live sand eels. I'm thinking of taking some Coarse gear along i.e. carp rod and largish baitrunner fixed spool reel. What would the prospects be, and does anyone have any tips or advice to enchance what I hope will be a great day out.

If u have a heavy duty spinning rod, i would take that instead. 12 ft of rod is a pain in a boat...10 foot or less is better. Also, a small multiplier is fun....orrrrrrrr...a centrepin.

Hi Rob, Thanks for the reply, I do have a spinning rod, and yes I do have a centre pin....The onlt problem was that the trip was cancelled due to bad weather in the channel , but next time I will take the pin..
