Why Hello there me harty's.
Goin to the Dane today for first time, Any tips on rigs, bait etc will be appreciated, Read a few threads, Maggot and pellet seem the way to go.:confused:

I'm afraid that the Dane is not local to me, but there are many good anglers on here who know it very well.

Welcome to the site. Probably a bit late mate but travel light and stay on the move.

Depending on the stretch trotted maggots will catch you chub and some good grayling, just not in every swim.

Welcome to FM. Good advice from BlueNose...although you may find with maggots minnows will also put in an appearance. Depends on the stretch freelined bread or a pellet or two or corn...or you could ledger. But travel light and cover a range of swims
