Hi,sorry if you see this topic for second time, but I wasnt sure I posted it on the right place.
Maybe you have seen a lot of silly threads like this below, but as not very experienced carp angler I need your opinion about Abu Garcia Enticer 2.5 T.C.I need something good for carping on the large continental waters(often distance greater than 80 yards) and considering the price of this rod Im not sure,it will manage with 20-40 pounder,i hope Im wrong! So could you please tell me your opinion about this piece of kit.Could you relay on it for this kind of fishing.Any info is greatly appreciated!

My wife uses the three piece 3lb test curve Pike rods and they are excellent for the money.
They would undoubtably be better than the 2.5lb rods fro the bigger rivers in Spain and Bulgaria and will have no problem coping with cats as well.
I spent a good deal of time in Bulgaria around Sofia a few years back and saw plenty of lakes but did not do any fishing how good is it, compared to say the Ebro and Catalunya which I fish regularly?

HI,about the fishing in Bulgaria I want to say, that there are some really good places, not comercialised yet, where you can catch a lot of fish and particularly big carp and catfish. And the envoirment is far better than most of the places in Europe.(I'll try to provide you with some pictures!!)Most of the bulgarian rivers are smaller than Ebro,so the cats are not very big,but its still something that you will remember!
Best Regards
