I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT WILD BIRD SEED MIXED WITH MY GROUND BAIT WILL HELP HOLD CARP IN MY SWIM. IS THIS TRUE & DO YOU HAVE TO SOAK IT FIRST

If its wild bird mix that you get from pet shops that you`re talking about,you have to soak and boil it before you use it as it contains seeds that swell up after being in water.

Wild bird seed mix also has quite a high proportion of floating particles, which may not be what you want.

It can hold carp in the swimm but you also get alot of smaller fish in your swim but I have seen some good results from bird seed but One thing better is pigeon conditioner with anaseed in it!!!!!!!
