Why has Graham Marsdens title changed from Editor Emeritus to Senior Member?

I noticed this recently and found it very strange?

Has Graham asked to have it changed?
Emeritus means retired but still involved doesn't it?
Is he no longer involved with his 'Baby' FishingMagic?

I know that Ronaldo, look up Emeritus.

Why are articles and reviews still being released under Grahams title then?

I had a qucik word with that Steve bloke who ownes the site (Steve Pope he's called I think) and he's changed Graham's title to annoy him.

Ron will be next with the title "Never been an angler"

and Poshers will have his name changed to Postman Pat

I have the photo's Steve - so if you don't want them to be published do as I say

Evening chaps, just got in.

Yes, Graham requested the change. Nothing strange nor requiring the theme tune to the Twilight Zone. Sometimes the software refuses to believe that and under some circumstances will display the previous title, so then we have to manually change it.

I'm gobsmacked!!!

So you're telling us Graham requested to be known as a Senior Member and have his title of Editor Emeritus removed and have no further involvement with FishingMagic.....his 'baby'? Wow!

I can't wait to buy Graham a pint at Blenheim Palace and wish him well in his full retirement.

No I didn't.

The change was made first and then I was asked if I minded, quote:
"A few have asked what the hell is an Editor Emeritus so I reverted you back to a normal ‘Senior Member’ for the time being. Now is that OK with you or what?"

I replied: ".....well, if you think that will help I have no problems with that."
