Eddie, this is the sort of trout water I can fall in love with. Just the sort of place for me to spend a few days fishing and unwinding.

Are there any decent traditional English country Inns near it where I could spend a night or two. You know the sort of place, straight forward honest accomodation, no London Ponces yuppies or woofters, plain and wholesome Lancashire food - black pudding with the breakfast and a nice homely barmaid, similar to the one at the Black Bull in Ribchester.

I could spend a great break at a place like this.

Sounds good Eddie and not too difficult for a beginner (like myself)--and not too far to travel from Liverpool

It will be ok when they get rid of the trout and stuff it full of carp !
