clubs in lancaster

i would like to try my hand at match fishing, i reguarly practice on the lancaster canal and a few other lakes.

i was just wanting to know if anybody is from lancaster and knows any clubs that do junior matches as i dont want to go straight into open matches yet untill i improve and better my confidence.

i would appreciate it if you could give me some info

Hi mate,
try the Lanmore Club, it fishes most weekends in the area, currently about 25 members and a very friendly bunch of mixed ability. There are a couple of juniors in the club already and I am sure you would be made very welcome, call either Jason (01524 855818) or Nick (01524 848058). these two run the club and I promise you will learn loads.

thank you, but is it in lancaster? what places do they fish?

Hi mate,
it stands for Lancaster and Morecambe fishing club.
We fish places like Borwick, Manor House Farm, Tewitfields, Villa, and loads of others in the area.
