Hello all you sad anglers - I don't mean you're sad people, just its not a cheerful thought that our course fishing is restricted for the next 12 weeks.
Since I started fishing a few years ago I soon realised that where some of my spare time might be used exercising now it is mainly spent fishing, or preparing for fishing.
So each closed season, when I only fish a few times at day ticket waters, I try to take more excercise and keep a close watch on the weight. I want to get my 34" waist back!
Does anyone else have similar plans, let me know.
Yacko.

Yep, I've been training for a half Marathon. 2.5 weeks to go. 14lb lost in weight so far.

I'm off for a run now in fact.

You can't have a "half marathon". It's not a marathon unless it's the full monty.

I shall be practising loading and unloading the carp buggy and pushing it around the garden for the next fortnight then April, I might just go a carp fishing sometime.

I dropped a load of weight when I lost my mind once.

Been running today and learning how to splice leadcore (the Tench are gonna get it!)

What a productive day.

Did some real work too!

"Did some real work too!"

That's a silly thing to do.
