Did we ever sort which is the strongest small hook ?(small enough for one grain of sweetcorn or a single maple)
and they would need to be fairly light and also of a dark colour
cheers

Drennan super speci are good as are kamasan Animal hooks. Most hooks no matter what brand always reach a point were they will fail, thats (the joy?) fishing I guess lol

never had one straighten, but "only" to mid 20 and stillwater. are the fish that spooky that you need small hooks, with all the turbulence i wouldnt've thought presenation would've been that much of a worry (for carp!)

me at a recent gig Jason....

At the mo they are not spooky and they are almost eating out my hand but its close season ,when their rolexes tell them its open season things might be different

been feeding them for a while and they dont seem to be on the boilies yet but they chase sweetcorn and maples all day long

"keep your bins on though"

I thought the expression for spectacle was "BIMS" - honest question, is it?

Perhaps you're right. Stem of 'Binocular' I suppose - relating to seeing with both eyes.
