zig rig method mix

Ive just had an idea what about using a mixture of different sized floating and sinking pellets in a method mix with either a zig or normal bait. The idea being to pull carp down from the upper layers where they spend a lot of time during spring. Whadya reckon?????????????/

put a lot of fish oil in the mix, less for the birdlife to home in on. if you use flotaing pellets and a bottom bait, there is a chance the fish might go up rather than down!

would it be possible to make a bait that breaks down like a method mix but zig rigged so its in the middle/upper layers

spoken to a guy in our club who uses the bagging waggler(method float) he say's he fishes a size 8 hair rig 12" to 24 below the float with a white 16mm boilie on the hair with a hemp seed method mix.
he tells me just keep banging the feed in and the you will bag loads of carp.
