That looks amazing !
And here was I thinking I was going to get a bit exotic next time I am fly fishing for carp by taking my chest waders to the local two acre lake in case I hook a 20 on my 7 wt rod with 6lb leader and have to follow it around to stay in contact without worrying about trees on the bank etc.

Spectacular stuff! The nearest I've got to a Tarpon was hand feeding the "tame" ones down in the Florida Keys.

There's some more exotic fishing videos here:

Must save a bit harder, then maybe, just maybe.......

A few years ago I tried a bit of "belly boating" (as they call it out there) in northern California. It was good fun until I actually hooked something that had me spinning around and around and caused me to wrench a major shoulder muscle.... very painful! It was only a little trout as well!

I haven't a clue but suspect it could be Costa Rica or one of those central american swims.
Who's up for a fish-in, when we find out then? :)

I think it's in the Cameroon.

For me it was a toss up between there and Blenheim last weekend!

That reminds me of the Cuanza River - Angola when I was a hell of a lot younger.

Hell, what fishing!

Angola could easily be the wealthiest country on this planet. But unfortunately a bunch of cretins run it.

Ok...who had the flash camera gear at Press Manor this year?

However...if it was in certain parts of the world I'm not sure I would want to paddling my little tootsies in the water. As that "great supporter of angling" would sing "Suddenly, I am half the man I used to be"

brilliant piece of footage

Not much chance of catching Tarpon in this country, but a good chance of catching a tampon.:wh
