Agreed, Matt. Have seen far worse rig drawings in actual published books (Tony Miles, take a bow). Good suggestions, Lee. When fishing a feeder in-line, I always put a short piece of hard plastic tubing through the centre of the feeder (the one in your drawing looks like a Thamesley, which is what I use - has anyone else noticed that they're made of an inferior, brittle plastic these days, by the way?), held in place by a couple of soft rubber beads. It helps the line run easier through the feeder and the beads can be pushed against the lids to keep them from opening - they seem to work loose after a few casts.
