Where should I fish?

Hi,
I live in the Staffordshire area and I am just wondering where the good carp pools are. I don't mind traveling a bit so anywhere in that sort of area would be good. Looking for big carp, about 20lb+.

There's quite a few places around that area, most are club waters though, have a look at SOTAC and the PA websites.

Head up to the Cheshire Meres, Redesmere (SOTAC)and Shakerley Mere,(Lymm AC day ticket) to name but two. Also numerous waters controlled by Lymm, Warrington, Northwich and Bay Malton AC's in mid cheshire within reach of the M6. They all have v.informative websites.
