Beautiful catch mate, duno if you'll agree but dont you think stockies are alot less pretty than wildies ?

It all depends on what you want.

Personally I would prefer a wild brown like the 5 pounder in my mug shot, but I do not decry anyone wanting to catch a fish like this.

The best looking brownies I have seen in this country are the stuffed fish in the lodge at Rutland.

totally agree, wildies are the ones to catch. My father stalked a large brownie on the spey for 2 seasons, never caught it, but he still enjoyed watching it.
