here is the spec

13ft FAST ACTION

SECTIONS: 3

GUIDES: 15

WEIGHT: 232g

CASTING WEIGHT: 15g

i would prob get more use out of a sea reel with sea line fitted but not worth it if the rod isnt good enough

Have a better go at selling it? Did you try FM's classifieds? Any of the other big sites? Fleabay?
Now you've got our attention,, you may as well give it a go...
Bear in mind, however, that if it's a Hyperloop ax390, Argos unloaded a warehouseful at half price (then £22.50-ish) a few years ago, leaving not a few sorry stockholders trying to shift theirs at a price that seems high by contrast, which hasn't helped!
Better photos? Description? Lower start price?
One rthing's for sure, it might cope with estuary float-fishing for flounder and mullet, but 15g is about half an ounce, and you're not going to fish many beaches with that.

Other than float fishing for mullet with freshwater gear (as said above) it won't do at all for sea fishing. I'd have a go selling on Ebay with a low start price, but you'll need to give a good description of the rod: make, model number, length, condition. and have a couple of decent piccys. remember that it's going to cost around a tenner to post it.

You could buy a centre pin on Ebay. Decent ones go for around £30 to £40 (Trudex or Rapidex) and you can give it a go and if you don't like it you can put it back on and get your money back. Used Tackle (see ads in Angling Times) are doing what looks like a half decent 'pin for around £30 if you want a new one.

Be ok for mullet or float fishin for pollack. Maybe estuary flatties. TO be honest though id be wary of it snapping on any of those too. Better off selling.

Don't just write it off as a mullet rod - it would be fine for summer float fishing off the rocks or pier for garfish, mackerel, wrasse, pouting, schoolie bass, black bream and loads of other smaller species.

Edit to say: Just seen your post on the sea forum. You don't need a special "sea line". Use your normal coarse line and end tackle. Just use a heavy float like a 5 swan chubber or loafer that will be OK in a bit of swell.
