This tread is for sharing giving inspiration for the new season
Got a river were you know there carp but there very had to catch?
Tip: find a stream from you Local River, walk up and down it on 16th. Just take a rod, reel, hooks, ssgs and worms. Carp use stream at a rest from sporning you might even pick up a nice chub.
Bait: pestered by crayfish?
This is quite horrible but mahahaha call me evil. Why not use that to you advantage find a nice weedy place. Get a net and just net through the weed. You are bound to find some 2inch crayfish (if you are squeamish look away) break there back and use their tail as bait for chub. Works like a treat
Carp trouble: ever get trouble with commercial fisheries saying no boilies?
GREAT go with it think of some new way to make similar bait here are some suggestions
Biolie 1: get some bread and mush it to a small size ball (biolie size) get some bisto curry sauce maker and mix them together. Leave it for a while and they will go hard
Biolie 2: try bread and cheese in a paste
Biolie 3: lol run out of idea just sneak tuttie fruity on!
