I can do no better than recommend something from the Orkney Range or if you are not worried about speed an Arran 16. I have the latter....And is an excellent seaboat with good stability. I also think it is more robust than the Orkneys.I would suggest that 16ft be your minimum purchase as that will take 4 anglers. If you can get a boat with a forwrd cuddy as a little bit of comfort can make your day....Finally,after thinking about how much you have spent on your boat...Dig deep again and get thr right safety stuff ...Your lif si worth it!! If you wish to ask more questions get in touch..I do know a bit about boats.

Mark,
V briefly, I am writing this in airport.....
Compass (and learn to use it), Anchor with suitable rope and chain,Flares, a good set of oars and rowlocks and a lifejacket...A "survival/bouyancy" suit is excellent too!! Please feel free to ask some more questions if you like...
Cheers
John
