Sheep Dip ? The Silent Killer

I've been saying for years how dangerous sheep dips can be. It's necesarily just the accidental leakage or the dripping off sheep when they go to the water for a drink or in the rain, but there are some unscroupulous farmers who won't bother to pay for it to be syphoned away into treatment tankers. This is a costly exercise, but if a few thousand gallons were to be released it could end all life in a river.

It's understandable that the S&TA are interested in fly fishing, but were a massive pollution incident the loss of fly and grub life in a river would have an adverse effect on coarse fish also. Everyone would be affected.
