I went to my optician today to get a quote on some new specs.

Three pairs all in varifocals including one polarised for ?397.00

Not bad eh.

And the latest designer frames....)

Is that a good price or isn't it?

No, it's Rotherham prices chaps.

Don't all come up here, you'll have them sticking up their prices.

My appointment is on Friday at 11-15 with a Dr. Mtetwe.

He is a fully qualified sangoma I will have you believe. He spends at least 10 minutes throwing the bones.

I only need reading glasses. I thought them expensive at ?29.99 for frames and lenses then. I have had new lenses fitted and the frames are still as good as new. (yes the price is right)

Just paid ?236 at Specsavers for a pair of fast reactive varifocals with antiglare in Ultralite steel frames with flexihinges. If I'd had them without reactive and antiglare I'd have got a second pair for free.
I was quoted ?385 for a pair of similar specs but without the antiglare at my local opticians.

Sorry , forgot to mention that you also get a free 2" piece of shammy leather for cleaning them with. Or one of their reps will come and clean them for you once a fortnight.
