Anybody got some advice for me ? I'm looking to buy a new rod to use on the tip.I've got a couple of smaller tip rods , the larger which has a 1oz 2oz and 3oz tip. But i'm looking for a slightly stronger rod with say 11/2 lb test that can take 2,3,and 4oz tips and capable of throwing a small method feeder say 50-70yds. The 2-21/2 lb rods are to big for what i want , i like to play my fish not just crank them in!! i'm looking at fishing for large bream 8-12lbs and tench in the 7-11lb bracket.But capable of holding a carp if i happen to hook one which i'm not fishing for.
