Air Dried Boilies

Any advice on keeping air dried boilies mould free and fresh?

dont be afraid of the mould as long as the mould is white they are ok to use a few people actually prefer them that way the white mould is harmless it is coused by something in the bait escaping and actually makes them more effective.

When they start to go green throw them away they are harmfull then.

Thanks for the advice. i think the pellet idea should work to absorb any moisture.

be careful though John, because you'd have thought that air drying baits will make them solid, this it does, but when dunked back in water for any length of time they absorb more than they lose when air drying them - meaning they'll turn to soft within a short period of time. I NEVER air dry baits for the hook, but chose to use them for freebies.
