I'm after a pair of verstaile rods and I'm keen not to end up with rods that are overpowered for where I fish, I'm not going to be breaking any records.
I'd like a light weight quiver rod. I plan to use it for fishing for roach, rudd and perch on lakes and small rivers. If I could get away with catching the odd good chub on it to then so much the better.
I'm also after a second feeder rod, or even a twin tip rod. I'd like to use this for fishing for bream and tench on still waters, at up to 40-50m and both species run to around 6lb with the odd bigger fish. However, I'd also like to use this rod on a small river for chub and barbel, although more for chub than barbel as the barbel aren't prolific. I don't plan on snag fishing and the barbel don't run huge, an 8lb barbel is massive. I've been looking at Drennan's matchpro medium feeder and Greys TX prodigy TX specailist twin tip but I'm open to any suggestions.
